COMMISSIONS

How it Works

  1. Submit a request using the form below or email me directly at hello@toshajihnart.com. Do not DM me on Instagram for a commission as this inbox is no longer monitored.
  2. In 2-3 business days I will respond with follow up questions to help us come up with a game plan.
  3. Once we establish a plan and the required agreement form is complete, you will be invoiced for a non-refundable deposit that must be paid within 48 hours that it is sent. If the deposit is not paid, I will not start your commission and the next paying customer will receive priority. The deposit is not refundable for any reason.
  4. When the painting is completed, you will be invoiced for the balance before the painting can be shipped. Once the balance is paid, the painting will ship via USPS Standard Shipping.

Commissions FAQ

  • All commissions are completed on a first come first serve basis. Depending on the commission and current workload, paintings can take up to a month for completion. 
  • Resale and redistribution of my work is prohibited, and further action will be taken.
  • Commissions are priced by square inch with a $100 minimum for a 5x7 painting. Pricing for paintings with more detail and/or larger sizing are charged between $1.50-2.00 per square inch.
  • Prices are firm and not up for negotiation. If you have a budget, I am happy to discuss a solution.
  • Deposits at $100 or 50% of the quoted price, whichever is less. Please know that deposits are never refundable for any reason as this covers cost of materials and the design before painting.
  • e-gift cards through the shop can be used towards your commission.
  • Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly financing is offered and your painting will be shipped via USPS US Standard Shipping once your commission is fully paid.
  • Commissions are not refundable or exchangeable, and are not included in additional sales or promotions.
  • Commission consultations are always FREE.

 

All work is made with watercolor, gouache and soft pastel. Requests outside of the style I work with such as calligraphy, portraits, realism or abstract work will be automatically rejected as well as requests for tattoo designs and requests containing AI generated content as AI works against my mission and ethics as an artist.
